Best of campus: May

A quick selfie and 800 mpg cars, poster presentations and live demonstrations, and a play based on a beloved novel by Jane Austen. Cap it off with the academic year鈥檚 biggest event 鈥 Commencement 鈥 and you have a lot going on this month at Bradley. (All photos by Duane Zehr)

Civil Engineering and Construction students posed for a quick selfie at the new Business and Engineering Convergence Center site.

Mechanical engineering students work on Bradley鈥檚 Shell-Eco-Marathon car. Its first time on a test track, it glided around Shea Stadium getting 800 mpg!

Senior projects abound: mechanical engineering student Tyler Nafziger, left, explains his team鈥檚 project, Hydrogen Generation Through Plasma Assisted Electrolysis of H20, to Andrew Hill at the department鈥檚 poster presentation session.

At the final event of the NASA 3D-Printed Habitat Challenge, students demonstrated their vortex cannon, one of many creative solutions to come from Bradley鈥檚 partnership with the space agency.

Theatre Arts last production of the year was 鈥淪ense and Sensibility,鈥 based on the 1811 novel by Jane Austen. The plot is the tale of impoverished sisters, Elinor and Marianne, who despite their limited marriage prospects, manage to find three dynamic suitors.

What鈥檚 not to love about the happy faces of our May graduates, especially when they decorate their caps so colorfully? They even included their service puppies in the happy occasion!
