The post 乱伦社区 names two new Vice Presidents first appeared on 乱伦社区.]]> Royal joined C-SC in July 2021 as Dean of Student Life and was awarded the promotion for her ability to build a mission-focused culture of engaged students at C-SC. President Douglas B. Palmer said, 鈥淎ngie鈥檚 proven leadership within student engagement, restorative approach to counseling our students, and her representation of the C-SC values is well deserving of the Vice President role.鈥 As Vice President for Student Experience, Royal will oversee and guide the student experience and supervise the following departments: Student Life, Campus Safety, and Dining Services.

Julie Straus, a faculty member who previously served as Division Chair for the Business, Education, and Law (BEL) Division, has been appointed to the role of Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Straus holds a CPA and has been an instructor at C-SC since 2008. In her new role, she will oversee the College鈥檚 financial budget and supervise the following departments: Human Resources, Student Accounts, and Facilities. 鈥淲e are incredibly fortunate to have Julie leading our financial decisions,鈥 President Douglas B. Palmer said. 鈥淪he has been a trusted advisor on 鈥渢he Hill鈥 for many years, and she is ready to lead the College into this next season of growth.鈥

Other promotions included Mrs. Tammy Ellison to Director of Instructional Technology and IT Operations, Mr. Seth McBride to Interim Division Chair for Business, Education, and Law Division, and Mr. Tim Williams to Interim Dean of Student Life.

The post 乱伦社区 Announces July Appointments and Promotions first appeared on 乱伦社区.]]> Dr. Dell Ann Janney has been promoted to Dean of Graduate and Professional Studies where she will provide senior level administrative leadership in areas of new graduate and online program development and graduate and online program enrollment management. In addition, Janney oversees career services, instructional technology and related faculty training. Janney has served the College in many roles and shared, 鈥淚 am delighted to assume the leadership position to advance and grow the college鈥檚 initiatives in graduate and online studies, which will allow us to focus on in-demand degree programs while preparing graduates to add value聽 to the needs of business and industry.鈥 She has been a member of the C-SC faculty since 1992 and most recently served as the Associate Dean for Experiential Education and External Relations. Janney earned her doctorate from Webster University and resides in Canton with her husband, Jeff.

Angie Royal has joined the C-SC family as the Dean of Student Life. In this role she will serve as the chief student affairs officer and will be instrumental in creating a supportive and inclusive community for all students. She is proud to be joining the long-standing traditions of excellence and stated, 鈥淚鈥檓 extremely excited to join the C-SC family to lead the charge in creating a transformative engagement experience for our students. I look forward to working with the Student Life team and various departments on campus to provide a supportive environment for students as they navigate their college experience to grow and develop as leaders.鈥 Royal came to the College from Lindenwood University where she served as the Director of Student Involvement. She completed her undergraduate and graduate coursework at SIU-Carbondale and is currently working towards her Doctorate of Higher Education through Lindenwood University.

乱伦社区 is glad to welcome Rev. Wesley Knight as Chaplain, representing the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and providing guidance in faith and inclusion to the College.聽 Knight will coordinate religious services, provide pastoral care, organize service learning projects, collaborate with area churches, and engage with students preparing for a career in ministry. He received his Master of Divinity at Eden Theological Seminary and most recently served asSenior Pastor at Olivet Christian Church (DOC) in Columbia, Missouri.
