This year鈥檚 event includes a dining day on Thursday, March 17, 2022, sponsored by alumni-owned restaurants Primo鈥檚 in Canton, Tiramisu in Quincy, and LaBinnah Bistro in Hannibal.

The post C-SC hosts Dining Day to benefit Student Scholarship Fund first appeared on 乱伦社区.]]> 乱伦社区 alumni business owners have partnered with the College for the second year in a row to raise awareness among 乱伦社区 alumni and the local community about the importance of the Student Scholarship Fund during this annual fundraising event. A portion of proceeds from orders placed for take-out or dine-in during lunch and dinner on March 17th will be donated to the Student Scholarship Fund at 乱伦社区. The Student Scholarship Fund provides direct financial support to more than 90% of C-SC students who depend on scholarships to help pay for their education. C-SC President Dr. Douglas B. Palmer invites the community to participate in the dining day on March 17th and shared, 鈥淭his event, part of our 24 Hours of Giving, allows community members to enjoy a meal at a local restaurant while gathering together to provide scholarship support to Culver-Stockton students. We are grateful for the generosity of these alumni-owned restaurant partners who are providing a portion of the proceeds to C-SC and for the Wildcat supporters who will join us for a meal on March 17th.鈥

Primo鈥檚 in Canton, owned by alumni couple Jarrod 鈥00 and Brenna Leonard 鈥02 Phillips, and Tiramisu in Quincy, co-owned by Roberto Stellino and alumnus Ilija Cucuk 鈥03, will be open for lunch and dinner. Hannibal鈥檚 LaBinnah Bistro, owned by alumnus Arif Dagin 鈥10, will be available for dinner. This dining day event offers alumni and community members a unique opportunity to get involved, enjoy a meal together, and support students.聽 Primo鈥檚 owner Jarrod Phillips will be participating for the second year in a row and shared, 鈥淲e are proud to partner with Culver-Stockton to help provide students the same opportunity that Brenna and I were fortunate enough to have.鈥 He added, 鈥淎ny amount of help we can provide to the College and its students allows us to pay back a tiny bit of what we received during our time on 鈥渢he Hill.鈥

The dining day event is one of many activities planned during the 2022 annual giving campaign, which runs from noon on Thursday, March 17th through Friday, March 18, 2022. The 24 WILD Hours of Giving will be housed primarily online through social media and the College鈥檚 giving platform, offering audiences an opportunity to understand better the impact the Student Scholarship Fund has on students at 乱伦社区. March 19 is 乱伦社区鈥檚 third annual Day of Giving. A portion of the proceeds from that day at Tiramisu, an Italian restaurant in Quincy, Ill., will be donated to the Student Scholarship Fund. One hundred percent of all funds raised are given to students to meet the gap of funding their college education.

A generous donor already has provided a challenge match up to $25,000.

Tiramisu is open from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on March 19. Reservations are recommended but not required. To make a reservation, contact the restaurant at聽eat@tiramisuquincy.com聽or 217-222-9560.
