The experiences beyond the classroom through internships, real-world problem-solving, simulations and connections to industry leaders and community members contribute to the continuously high placement rates post-graduation. Culver-Stockton has an internal goal that more than 80 percent of its students will complete at least one pre-professional experience during their undergraduate career. It is the second consecutive year that Culver-Stockton has topped the list in Missouri. C-SC was ranked No. 2 in the state in the 2018 ranking.

Robin Jarvis, director of career and internship services, says the recognition is a testament to the value of C-SC鈥檚 experiential curriculum. The goal at Culver-Stockton is for more than 80 percent of its students to complete at least one pre-professional experience during their time. The graduating class of 2020 had 91.8 percent of its students participate in some form of pre-professional experience.

C-SC鈥檚 placement rate of 92.93 percent was No. 2 in last year鈥檚 ranking for Missouri behind Saint Louis University.

Culver-Stockton鈥檚 12-week/3-week academic calendar, which provides real-world learning opportunities for students, was started in the fall of 2008.
